Yoga Retreats - Information That Is Hardly Shared Before

You are now warned to be careful before doing Yoga! Don't you remember that it is better to be accused of being too careful than it is to be accused of negligence before it is too late?

You want to research the nine major styles of Yoga: Bhakti, Hatha, Jnana, Karma, Kundalini, Mantra, Raja, Tantra, and Yantra Yoga. Then, make a choice as to which path of Yoga you would like to pursue. Seek out a home study guide while looking for a teacher! Yoga reading definietly helps.

When visiting a bookstore or library, browse through the Yoga books for the one that align with your purpose in learning Yoga! draws you in. If you choose to study Yoga to reduce stress, the first book I would personally recommend is, "Yoga For Stress Relief" as it is an audio version. This one audio book will help anyone develop their own routine. All of us do not have the same needs for Yoga lessons. For example: If you are in search of relief from stress, you might not be looking for Boot Camp Yoga, complete with a drill sergeant to bark the heck out of you?

Yet, time and time again, I see peopel crying at those Yoga Boot camp being trained like in teh army! That is wrong. It is so wrong. That is not the true Yoga!

However, there are some people love Yoga boot camps for the feelings of accomplishment and empowerment, which carry over into everyday life.

With that said, it is really your choice, but being a Practitioner for so many years, you can do Yoga at home as longas you know the secret of Yoga! Yoga is not really a sport. It is a union with God!

Yoga involves meditation. The many benefits of meditation cannot be realized by a closed mind. You cannot force yourself to meditate and neither can anybody; not even yoru Yoga teacher. You can, at least, try to meditate, but if you are not receptive to it, you may be best to do it at home in a quiet environment.

So, why bother wasting time in a Yoga class if it just does not suit you?

How many of your co-workers love their jobs? How many of them are happy every day? How many of them suffer from stress, anxiety disorders, panic attacks and illness like that? It is my contention that most people are only aware of the exercises and not what the exercises are meant to prepare them for. It s as if somehow they never get to hear the music. They only see and hear the exercises.

Perhaps you are saying that this is silly. After all, great pianists make beautiful music when they are playing. That s true.

You have to remember that, there is no time and sometimes no desire to learn more of Yoga in class.

Sometimes, the instructors themselves have not been taught more than these exercises, sometimes they do not practice them and sometimes they do not want to lose students who are not ready to transform themselves.

In reality, the true Yoga practitioners like the true classical pianists study the already written works of great composers and try to play them as the composer intended them to sound. Modern jazz pianists try to understand what their fellow musicians are playing and try to make up new, never played before music that fits in perfectly with what is going on around them. You can play for yourself or you can go play for the enjoyment of others.

This is similar to what true Yoga is like. It applies to the real Yogis who really are out there to help you fight stress! They know eactly what you need to do to reduce your stress level and manage your stress!

You can study the ancient scriptures or you can go out into the World and practice Yoga in everyday life. You can practice Yoga for your benefit, or for the benefit of others.

I am not saying that going to a Yoga class and stretching for an hour is of no benefit. Not at all. There are plenty of benefits which anyone can and will get from even this limited practice. However, since their practice is on the gross or physical plane, most of the benefits will be limited to this physical plane: Better Health.

And so the most Yoga, or Union, they can hope to achieve is that of uniting one part of their body with another, via the flow of their Pranas.

When the pelvis is centered and aligned with gravity, there is a feeling of stamina and vitality within the posture, making the Chair posture vibrant and challenging. The Eagle posture in Yoga improves concentration, sense of balance and grace of the body.
