Kids Yoga - Everything You Want To Know

Any Yoga teacher could tell you to practise unconscious shallow breathing and in fact anyone could practice it without any effort, but do you also know that shallow breath is poor Pranayama, in its purest form?

You are pregnant, you should be in a specialized Prenatal Yoga class, with a competent Prenatal Yoga teacher, and have your doctor s permission to be in the class. Why should you be so cautious? Because if not careful, Yoga could kill both you and your pre-born baby! This is very serious, and is covered in details in Yoga For Stress Relief audio book. When you suffer from arthritis you get used to living with chronic pain, and pain relief usually comes in the form of a pill, rather than gentle exercise. This causes you tremendous stress. I had been suffering from chronic pain for at least 3 years before I found Yoga!

Studies have shown that not only can yoga contribute to arthritis pain relief, but it helps to relieve your stress! It also helps to make you strong, flexible and confident, even though you have arthritis and feel depressed.

People with arthritis tend to cut down on their activities which leads to even more joint stiffening, and more pain. and hence more depressed which finally leads to commit suicide!

Undertaking some gentle yoga exercises not only improves your circulation and strengthens your bones and muscles, the exercises can also give you the confidence to live your life in spite of your arthritis. You don't need to bend yourself into a pretzel to do some yoga to help your arthritis. Breathing and self-awareness is at the core of yoga, so even standing up and breathing is a yoga exercise called Mountain Pose. This pose, just standing up and bringing your body into alignment as much as you can for a few moments, will help your posture, which translates into better balance in your daily activities.

Other yoga exercises are modified for people who have arthritis, with chairs, bolsters and other props. You still get most of the benefits of the full pose, and over time, you may even find that you no longer need the props. Go for both yoga classes and self-study. Go and get yourself a good audio bok for stress relief.

It is my contention that most people are only aware of the exercises and not what the exercises are meant to prepare them for. It s as if somehow they never get to hear the music. They only see and hear the exercises.

Perhaps you are saying that this is silly. After all, great pianists make beautiful music when they are playing. That s true.

You have to remember that, there is no time and sometimes no desire to learn more of Yoga in class.

Sometimes, the instructors themselves have not been taught more than these exercises, sometimes they do not practice them and sometimes they do not want to lose students who are not ready to transform themselves.

In reality, the true Yoga practitioners like the true classical pianists study the already written works of great composers and try to play them as the composer intended them to sound. Modern jazz pianists try to understand what their fellow musicians are playing and try to make up new, never played before music that fits in perfectly with what is going on around them. You can play for yourself or you can go play for the enjoyment of others.

This is similar to what true Yoga is like. It applies to the real Yogis who really are out there to help you fight stress! They know eactly what you need to do to reduce your stress level and manage your stress!

You can study the ancient scriptures or you can go out into the World and practice Yoga in everyday life. You can practice Yoga for your benefit, or for the benefit of others.

I am not saying that going to a Yoga class and stretching for an hour is of no benefit. Not at all. There are plenty of benefits which anyone can and will get from even this limited practice. However, since their practice is on the gross or physical plane, most of the benefits will be limited to this physical plane: Better Health.

And so the most Yoga, or Union, they can hope to achieve is that of uniting one part of their body with another, via the flow of their Pranas. Pranayama is most important, but let s look at solutions for Yoga posturing, and getting better blood circulation in the legs, within a finite amount of space, "Yoga for Stress Relief" is the answer!

Yoga Postures Hatha Yoga Depression

Therefore, Pranayama should be of extreme value to all athletes and anyone who wants to be in peak physical condition. Yoga teachers should explain the many values Pranayama and of Hatha Yoga s other aspects.
