I bet you know that stress is actually the number one killer of humans on the planet. Are you surprised? You thought it was cancer? No, it is not cancer, but it is stress!
Stress is a factor and cause of more physical and mental diseases than most of us can imagine. If you have any disease or ailment, stress will make it worse, including cancer. If you are getting "stressed out," it may bring on an ailment or disease. Just look at what stress does to your blood pressure and heart. Cancer patients recover quicker and better when they ahve less stess. Of course, we are human flesh. We worry.
However, too much stress can cause serious mood swing and result in a possible depression. Stress overload can cause job burn out, chronic fatigue, and nervous breakdowns. All of these conditions can result in long-term effects that can sap your life energy, focus, and motivation. Unfortunately, stress can also be caused by the ego, too much attachment to your desired outcome, greed, jealousy, and hate.

Any neck movements should be performed only after gentle isometric exercises for the neck.
You should combine Pranayama with these isometric exercises for maximum benefits. Lunge posture in Sun Salutations: The knee should be right above the ankle during this posture. When the knee is more forward than the ankle, this can cause premature wear of soft tissue within the knee joint. The only exception to this is when the back knee is on the floor, as this takes pressure off the forward knee. However, if you have an existing knee ailment, or is prone to knee problems, the knee should stay directly above the ankle and not beyond it.
This may even be considered very risky by some!
If you're doing your yoga in front of the TV on a carpeted floor, you can just use a thick towel, or a folded blanket although it is better to buy a proper mat. Music is a great way to prevent anxiety, loneliness, and sadness. Some of the better music for Yoga can also be played when you are commuting from one point to the next.
One of the Yoga styles like Hatha Yoga sub-styles such as, Restorative Yoga and Iyengar Yoga, hold the Yoga Postures a bit longer than most. Therefore, Pranayama should be of extreme value to all athletes and anyone who wants to be in peak physical condition.
